Glossary Tooltip automatically generates an organized glossary index, making it easy for users to find definitions and learn more about technical terms. You can customize how the glossary page looks and behaves directly from the plugin settings.

Glossary Index Page

Before your glossary can be displayed, you need to select a page to serve as your glossary index.

Simply create a new WordPress page (for example, Glossary) and select it in the Glossary Index Page setting.

Display A–Z Alphabetical Navigation

When visitors are already browsing the glossary page, they usually intend to read the complete definition.

For this reason, you can disable tooltips for glossary term names displayed in the glossary index.

Typography

The Typography settings allow you to customize the appearance of your glossary index without writing CSS.

These settings help you match the glossary with your website’s design and branding.

Alphabet Letter Font Size

Control the size of the alphabetical headings (A, B, C, and so on).

Increasing the font size makes letter sections more prominent, while smaller sizes create a more compact layout.
